The Amara Bangle

The Amara Bangle is our best-selling Cambodian-inspired bracelet and the first of its kind made in women’s sizes. Before Asiatic Moon, this traditional jingle bangle only existed in children’s measurements. I created the women’s version in three sizes so Southeast Asian women could finally wear the jewelry we grew up loving. Not just as a memory anymore, but as a part of our modern identity.

Each bangle features our signature soft jingle bells, a cultural sound symbolizing protection, presence, and feminine strength. Charms can be added to her to create even a more personal, meaningful piece. 

She is named after my first-born — middle name Amar — which means to love in Spanish. Amara is the feminine, Khmer version of my son who is the reason I started this business.
